Weak Hands
Traders likely to sell quickly under pressure, often at a loss during dips or volatility.
The opposite of diamond hands. Weak hands fold at the first sign of trouble, dumping into fear and locking in losses that a longer hold might have avoided.
The phrase is half analysis, half taunt. Larger holders sometimes 'shake out weak hands' with sharp dips before a move higher. Whether a hold was weak or just sensible only becomes clear after the fact.
