Diamond Hands

Slang for holding a position through heavy volatility and steep drawdowns without selling.

Diamond hands means refusing to sell when everyone around you is panicking — gripping the position no matter how hard the price shakes. The diamond and hand emojis became its shorthand on Twitter and Reddit.

The term went mainstream during the 2021 GameStop saga and crossed straight into crypto. It's worn as a badge of conviction. The flip side: stubbornly holding a genuinely broken project is just a slow way to become a bag holder.
