Sunrise has listed $HOOD, a tokenized Robinhood share, on Solana. Backpack Securities issued the token. Sunrise makes it tradable across Solana apps and wallets, 24/7. A brokerage stock, in other words, that does not clock out at the closing bell.

What got listed

$HOOD is meant to represent a share in Robinhood, the retail brokerage that has grown into one of the bigger on-ramps for both equities and crypto. Backpack Securities handles the issuance. Sunrise handles the listing and the onchain plumbing that lets the token move across Solana wallets and the apps built on them. It is the same idea behind tokenizing any equity: put the stock onchain and let DeFi treat it like any other asset. The practical result is that a Robinhood share can sit in a Solana wallet next to a holder's other tokens and route through the same venues.

Why 24/7 is the point

Robinhood's actual shares trade on public exchanges during set hours. Onchain, $HOOD does not stop. That is the whole case for tokenizing an equity. Exposure that settles without a broker's schedule. A position a wallet can hold and move at 3 a.m. on a Sunday. The pitch is composability and always-on access, not a cheaper or safer way to own the underlying.
