Dogecoin flashed a buy signal on the one chart most traders never bother to check. Crypto analyst Ali Martinez says the TD Sequential indicator turned bullish on DOGE's monthly candles, a reading that surfaced as the token slid toward roughly $0.056. That price is now the whole thesis. Hold it, Martinez argues, and the recovery has room to run toward $0.16.

The $0.056 line

The monthly TD Sequential does not fire often, which is part of why the call carries any weight. It is a slow indicator, built to flag exhaustion after an extended move, and it resolves over months rather than days. A signal on the daily chart is noise a patient trader can ignore. A signal on the monthly chart is the kind of thing that shapes a position for a full cycle. Martinez frames $0.056 as the support that has to stick. If it does, he sees an initial recovery toward $0.16, more than double where the token changed hands when he wrote. His broader-term target sits higher still: $0.45, at the upper edge of DOGE's rising channel. At the time of his note, DOGE was trading around $0.06990, already a notch above the support he flagged.

Bitcoin sets the tone

No altcoin call means much without Bitcoin, and Martinez tied the two together. He pegged $63,800 as the level that matters most for BTC. Hold that as support, by his read, and Bitcoin could rebound toward $67,000. Lose it and the picture flips fast, with the next downside target near $60,000. Bitcoin was changing hands at $64,065 when he published, a few hundred dollars above the trapdoor. For Dogecoin, that makes the $63,800 fight the one that quietly decides the trade.

What has to hold

The setup is a conditional, not a promise. Everything hangs on two lines: $0.056 for Dogecoin, $63,800 for Bitcoin. Break either and the bullish read comes off the table. Both sit close enough to current prices that the market will not leave the question open for long. The next monthly candle will do a lot of the talking.

Market data from OKX / CoinGecko. Not financial advice.

Dogecoin is up 5.1% over the past 24 hours to $0.07243, a green day that does not undo the recent slide. Zoom out and the trend still points down: DOGE is off 4.4% on the week and 8.4% over the past month, against a market cap of $10.75B. The bounce is real, but it is a bounce inside a broader drift lower.

Volume tells part of the story. Roughly $575.5M has changed hands in the last day, enough liquidity for the move to register without signaling a full reversal. Whether the 24-hour pop is the start of something or just noise depends on which levels hold, not on a single green candle.
