Ask Price
The lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept for an asset on the order book.
The ask, sometimes called the offer, is the cheapest price a seller will take. Buy with a market order and you pay the ask. Higher asks queue above it, making up the supply side of the order book.
The ask always sits above the bid; sellers want more than buyers want to pay. The space between them is the spread, a quiet cost on every round trip. A wide ask-bid gap in a small coin can cost you several percent before the price even moves.
