ANSEM, a Solana meme coin named after the trader Ansem, climbed 18,000% in three days to a market capitalization of $125 million. The broader market was falling at the same time. The crypto Fear and Greed Index read 12, deep in extreme fear. Speculative money found the one thing moving and crowded in.

How the token was created

The token's origin is small and a little absurd. Blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain traced ANSEM to a deployer wallet (yHCxHB) that spent $6,300 to create the token and buy 792.45 million units at launch. The deployer handed 650 million of them to Ansem himself, known on X as @blknoiz06, then sold the rest for about $11,800. Profit on the whole operation came to roughly $5,500. Ansem's wallet held 604 million ANSEM worth more than $71 million as of June 29.

Early buyers cash in big

A handful of early buyers did far better than the person who built it. Lookonchain flagged one wallet (CxCTVj) that turned $2,330 into $614,500 in realized and unrealized gains, a 261x return. Another spent 56.4 SOL (about $4,050) on 25.99 million tokens ten days before the spike, then sold the lot for 7,649 SOL, near $539,000. That is 135x.

Signs of concentrated ownership

The shape of the holdings is the tell. Ansem's $71 million stake was larger than the token's circulating market cap, by AInvest's analysis. Twelve wallets each bought more than $100,000 of ANSEM inside a single day, $1.985 million in total, and that fresh money came to only about 1.5% of the token's value across all wallets. Daily volume hit $30 million against a $60 million cap at one point. A 0.5x turnover ratio. Money was moving fast, not settling.

The cap touched $125 million, then slid back to about $117 million. In one day the price swung more than 12,000%. There is no product here, no revenue, just momentum and a famous name. Ansem still controls more than $71 million of it.
